Angel of Christmas

I know it is not the Christmas season, but I am too excited about posting all this old art to wait until then!

She was draw about three years ago (or two christmases ago) for my end-of-semester art project. The goal of the project was "To investigate the life, inspiration and work of an artist.  To break down the creation of one of their works and recreate it creating an original art piece that is unique but directly inspired by the artist."

I fell in love with Jennifer Healy's  soft shading and limited palette, and decided I wanted to imitate her. 

I also wanted to draw an old piece of art over again. Posts of the 'Draw it Again' Meme will be imminent!

I'm not half as good as Jennifer is, but this was my attempt.
